Grantham was good at uga.
But he was fighting for a job in the NFL (always keeping starters in for the shutout, pumping up his own stats despite the need to develop the younger players).
He is who he is... not a guy who coaches for tomorrow (which is great until it is tomorrow).

Coaches evolve. They learn. They fail. They adjust.
15 years ago, Nick Saban was worried about getting back to the NFL. Is that the case anymore?
Be careful about looking backward to predict the future. There's been a lot of road paved since the last time Grantham was in Athens.
