about losing to State that makes us despair.
Personally, I can deal with LSU losing now and then to Ole Miss and pain in the arse Arkansas.
Hell, I could even come to grips with losing to Aggy once every 10-15 years or so.
But losing to State makes me ill.

Gonna knock a lot of folks' wheels off the next two seasons. We're 80% Sophomores and Juniors.

Could be worse. Getting blown out at home by Purdue has gotta be a special feeling provided you're not comfortably numb.

This is the thing.... Jeff Brohm took the job at Purdue from WKU in Dec, 2016... he was available when LSU was "conducting a search" for a head coach. He is perhaps the best of the young head coaches and was before he took the Purdue job. But apparently He was not good enough to have even been on Alleva's radar last fall.
If Alleva had been AD in 1999, LSU would never have hired Saban. It is a travesty what that AD has done to the LSU football program.
