Pretty sure Lawrence will be needed later on and this game isn't worth the risk.
If the doctors and Lawrence feel like he is good to go and simply playing with some pain and soreness, if I were CEO I'd still dress him out. There may be a half a dozen plays where he can be used in a limited capacity. Then after the MSU game don't dress him out for Syracuse and Troy and make sure he's 100% ready for Florida.

Glen Logan is a prototypical space eater and he's not very athletic. Chattanooga threw it a lot so it wasn't his type of game. He did have some nice wins but he held his own in the run game considering his limited experience. I think Farrell really showed his mobility and strength and gave some nice pass rush. Clark came in really late but I also think he could give a handful of snaps if needed and not completely get destroyed.

I'd rather Lawrence honestly. Not a slight to Key, but Chaisson and Thompson have dominated the edge in his absence. When Lawrence went out last week, Logan and Farrell were a huge dropoff.
The good news is MSU's interior OL is meh. It's my understanding that Martinas Rankin at left tackle is their bets O-lineman. I don't think he's going to be a problem for our DE's and outside LB's.

That's exactly the role required of our interior. If they can just tie with their MSU interior OL match-ups our DEs and LBs will win the rest of the battles. They won't beat us on the edge...too fast...too athletic... too strong. They may be able to get a slight push up the middle but White, Phillips, Taylor and Alexander are a top 5 group and that would be stopped real quick, IMO. It's amazing how well Aranda has turned our LB (@ middle and rover) situation around so fast. White is a beast and I love our freshman Taylor and Phillips.

Rashard Lawrence will most definitely be missed out there..he's the only one who I really hate seeing hurt..he's a starter.

Of the ones you named, not having Rashard is probably the only player who we will miss to any extent. The others haven't played at all this year or have played very sparingly. Thus, our coaches have already been putting young talented players in their positions. But, We are better with Lawrence.
All the chest pounding bravado from both sides aside, this will be a tough, hard nosed game that may go back and forth. I do think that our OC and DC will get our guys in positions to be successful, but in no way, do I think that MSU will lose by more than 7-10 pts.

Lawrence has the most upside on the line
He's a beast and been impressive
Biggest loss is him
Wish he could play
