It's a build up of a number of things.. but I haven't seen fans boo their own team like they did on Saturday (2nd missed field goal) since we lost to the Citadel.

I was at the game. We didn't boo the team. We boo'd Bert not going on 4th down before the end of the second on our side of the field, and we boo'd not going on 4th and goal from the 1.

Yep, it was all directed at Bert.

The decision to kick it on 4th and 2 was inexcusable. That's the only one I booed on. You're on the two yard line and your kicker has already proven to not be reliable at a similar distance. If you don't get it, their offense is backed up on their own two and in a terrible spot. You should almost always go for it if you're within three yards of the endzone on 4th down, unless 3 points represents a huge difference on the scoreboard. Which, by the way, 14-10 vs. 14-7 isn't a big enough difference to warrant kicking it there.

I also hate how passive we are as halftime approaches. TCU had a 3rd and 5 after a quick pass from their own 25 with 1:15 left, we have two timeouts, and Bert just lets the clock run down. I know we had been having issues on offense, but damn, at least attempt to give yourselves another possession.
