If we can blow out Purdue, beat UK, and show up to Athens with a 3-2 record then I'll regain some hope. That means we should be 5-3 after Idaho/UConn.

That being said, I have very little faith that Mizzou gets the win this Saturday.

Consistency and coaching would be huge keys for me dropped passes, tackling, blown coverages, wins are nice and look good for his record but if they still make the same mistakes going into year 3 next year then we need to figure out either the coaching isn't up to par or if the players are to dumb to comprehend the fundamentals jmo

I'm still optimistic about Crockett mainly but the offense as a whole aswell. I feel like something is going to click and the offense will have big games against real competition (except maybe Auburn). This same team beat Vandy and came back from about 20 down to beat Arkansas.

I've questioned the high tempo no huddle many times but I realize it has the potential to give us an advantage. If it doesn't against Purdue, then frick the entire coaching staff. Losing to them would be potentially more embarrassing than losing to Indiana.

Oh and frick J'Mon Moore for being a pathetic pussy. Almost forgot.

A good clean game. Show me you can Coach BO. If we don't make dumb mistakes, turn over the ball, or completely suck at Special teams I might start to think he can turn this around.

If we see another sloppy performance the noose is going to be made.

Beating Purdue convincingly, a better than expected performance against Auburn (not a blow out loss), and beating Kentucky would get me more optimistic about progress and a decent season.

Mostly, I want to see a team that looks prepared and executes. If we lose to Auburn, that's expected, but I don't want to see more of the shite show that we've experienced so far on both sides of the ball and special teams. This team has what it needs to beat Purdue and Kentucky, and I think that has to happen.

Or a combination of both

It's very unlikely that Mizzou's group of high school recruits are dumber than anybody else's group of high school recruits.

So that leaves the other thing.

Man Mizzou coaches can't win with most of y'all here.
GP always played the older players that wouldn't make mistakes, but also weren't game changers. This raised the floor for the team. There are a few exceptions guys like Maclin, Alexander, Spoon and A. Smith. He routinely got roasted here.

BO seems to have taken the opposite approach. Going with a lot of younger players that are more mistake prone. Now he's getting roasted here.

GP players couldn't play read and react either. Maybe Mizzou does recruit dumb players

Football let alone SEC football is a big boy sport and BO and his staff is paid well to do it. If they cannot take the heat then get them the hell out. I am not even expecting them to compete even near the level of the 2006-14 Pinkel teams. I do expect and demand that the play fundamentally sound and effort football. What we have seen this year is far from that.

1. With only one or two wins, AD Sterk cuts HCBO. Hot-board time!

2. Somehow be at 5 or more wins going into arky, then beating the piglets. JMO, I doubt it. Gotta go bowling.

If not at 6 wins, cut HCBO fast.
