It's scary how similar they are

He's pretty much daring anyone to kick to him at this point.

if they do kick it to him, I wonder if Muschamp will turn him loose even if its in the endzone

That almost too wierd. I'm hoping he does it again.

But I wouldn't let him run one out of the end zone.

To me it depends on how deep and what he sees in terms of seams and blocking

I never understood why teams just don't boot it out regardless.
They practically kick it from midfield now.

Rather just know you're getting it at the 25 then risk the TD.
I know there are kickers out there that think if they boot it close enough there's that possibility of it being inside the ten.

There's definitely that ... but unless he has to, I'd just prefer he not risk iniury bringing it out. He's too valuable to risk.

From media availability today

quote:

Asked if he should be in contention for early Heisman hype he said he does not pay any attention to outside stuff like that. On kick returns, Samuel has been taught to stay two yards inside the end zone. If they kick it over his head, let it go. If they don't, go for it.

Yeah I have Roosters mindset as well. Could Deebo average returning the ball past the 20? yes. But if he got hurt our fanbase would crucify Muschamp. There isn't another player on our team who can/is ready to do what Deebo can on offense and special teams.

I agree which is why I said depended on how deep, and deebo answered the question today 2 yards deep or let it go...

He's magical with the ball in his hands no doubt.
