Cutcliffe was not fit to be a modern-day SEC coach. Low-energy, no recruiting, health issues. Our recruiting bottomed out so bad we hired a proven recruiter (Ed O) to replace him
. In fairness to him, he had a dumpster fire AD during his Ole Miss tenure. Ole Miss is much more competitive now in funding and overall program assets.
His moderate success at Duke is nothing more than anecdotal evidence that he would continue to be successful at Ole Miss, though.

If he wanted to take some sort of advisor/analyst or QB coach role then sure would love to have him back. I doubt he would want to leave the quality of life he has at Duke to go back to OM and help rebuild.
