He did last year, sure. Jury is still out this year, but almost all QBs make a big leap from freshman to sophomore year. I don't know how big his will be, but he didn't make any head-scratching throws Saturday under pressure against probably the best secondary in college football.
Jury is still out. I think defining him by mistakes as a true freshman and because he wisely didn't throw into possible mistakes Week 1 seems like a bit of a rushed judgment. We'll see how he progresses over this season.
