Which, well, is possible sadly.
Does Mac get fired mid season?
Would he have any fan support if he loses to Tenn and Kentucky?
I am off the bandwagon completely, so I already want him gone. See far to much that tells me he isnt good enough. At best, he is Mark Richt to me.
Also realize him being fired is highly unlikely, but if he loses the Kentucky streak. Really doubt anyone claims we acted too soon in letting him go. What do y'all think

Its getting tiresome...first, we aren't 0-3 yet and if you don't have 20 mil in your backpocket to buy him out...the answer is he will be our HC through 2018. He isn't being fired in 2017.
I love the comments from some posters that go along in this vein "if we lose to _blank_ or _____ I will lose it and Mac better be fired...or some such.
Whata some of the posters going to do? Pitch a temper tantrum ? I'm all for firing everyone on the offensive coaching staff....but we have only played `1 game and I will be the first to admit I was dead wrong about meatchicken....they came to play and they are going to be tough to beat by anyone imo.

Whata some of the posters going to do? Pitch a temper tantrum ? I'm all for firing everyone on the offensive coaching staff....but we have only played `1 game and I will be the first to admit I was dead wrong about meatchicken....they came to play and they are going to be tough to beat by anyone imo.

It'll be interesting if Mac starts with a home loss to TEnnessee and then ends a 30 year winning streak on the road.
What I will tell you is that the stadium will only be 50% full for Vanderbilt the next week, and if UF doesn't win that one, they will be staring 1-10 in the face.
I don't think things are actually as bad as that - we will see though.
Point is, if things really go that bad and fans lose interest, it may be worth the 12.5 mil to buy him out.
We will see.

I will believe it when I see it. It is like the biggest troll when UK is supposed to have an up year and the Gators in a down one and the streak still continues.

There may be some truth to this, any momentum for the season is now gone with the loss to Michigan and the cancellation of NoCo. If we lose to UT and by some chance UK, the season, the recruiting progress will all be lost. I hope this doesn't happen but it would be the worst case scenario. If we beat UT and UK we can still turn this around. Go Gators!

You mean the fact that they will be able to guess everyones play calls? They weren't that good. Average QB, average run game, average Oline, terrible secondary.
We are just that bad. It's not one game, and to act like it is just shows you are a blind pumper.
Mac has failed at every level.

He needs to go if he doesn't right the ship, immediately.
Had to deal with you pumpers when Muschamp clearly needed to go. Same song, different verse. We can afford his buy out if need be. Guy isn't good enough. Simple as that. Average at best HC. Maybe you enjoy seeing sub par performances, but I for one am tired of it. He is here to fix the offense, and it is actually worse. Can't even get a freaking play call in. Year 3. Still can't even call the plays, let alone the right ones.

This is a little harsh, I like to think of myself as a "half full glass" guy. I believe in the program and the coaches that we hire and support them as long as possible. Some fans are "half empty glass" guys and tend to be negative and turn very quickly on the coaches, players and admin. The correct way a fan should act, as usual is somewhere in between. I think that the half empty faction has been more prevalent in the UF fan base for way too long and has run off good coaches and kept good coaches from considering UF. We all need to calm down, support the program and depend on the athletic dept to make the right decisions. In all kinds of weather..........
With all of his short comings, Mac is the only coach in SEC history to win division championships in his first 2 seasons. Gator fans need to give the man some time without all the caustic criticism, for the good of the program, how about trying some constructive criticism?

It's not hard to do when the east is as competitive as the AAC west.

Matt, its the same ole song and dance. Sure I'm pissed off by the lackluster performance of our offense. TJ is now downplaying meatchickens worthiness to fit his agenda. Their DL is damn stout along with their LBs.
