My guess is LSUs defense is every bit as good. Maybe not quite as talented at all 3 levels but their coordinator is light years better.

We might have some new faces on D, looks like their defensive exodus is after this year while we lost some good talent last year.

- We lost the first safety taken in the draft (6th)
- 1st round corner who Ridley said is the best he's played against
- Two 3rd round inside LBs
- and a 5th round DT

-Our DL is very experienced and talented, will have at least 2 players drafted this year. The best one is only a sophomore though (Lawrence) and will be a very high pick year after next. Highly regarded guys backing them up too

- LBs are young but we return the highest rated defender in the draft next year in Arden Key. Have a 10.6 100m 260lb MLB roaming the middle, Devin white. And loads of young top 100 talents trying to stake their claim. Including newcomers like the nations #1 ranked MLB last year, and Chaisson the highly regarded pass rusher.

- DBs are still very strong after losing 2 first rounders. Kevin toliver is finally healthy after sitting last year, top 10 overall recruit at corner. Donte Jackson another top 100 speedster on the other end.
Battle is an experienced safety who will be drafted. Our other safety is likely a freshman top 100 guy who seems to have gotten the nod over the #1 safety in last years class. We also have the #3 safety from the class before coming off an injury redshirt.

Basically you'll just have to see them and judge for yourself. We'll play a good defensive game similar to FSU with a bunch of new highly touted faces. They'll go on to the league like they always do, plenty in the top rounds. And the world keeps on turning at LSU, just like it does at Bama, FSU, OSU, and the few other true NFL factories in College football.

There will be future 1st round picks on every level of the LSU defense when we play. Same goes for y'all. Just because you don't know all of their names at the moment doesn't mean they aren't there.
