1 great year and 2 avg to below avg years. He was better at MSU (both stops) and at Miami. It may have been a Mack Brown / Charlie Strong problem, not Diaz.

If we are going to settle with _iaz or Steele, we may as well keep Chavis and try again next year.

To Chavis defense, Sumlin didn't do him any favors in recruiting. If be more comfortable with Chavis than those two clowns.
