Y'all are letting the pre snap window dressing fool you

We lined up tight on the line and ran between the tackles

And who gives a flying frick that we did. That is what the defense presented keeping the safeties back and getting destroyed up front

Guys, not everything about les is bad. One thing he did good was power football against weaker teams

Our play calling kept their safeties back. We ran the ball successfully against 6 in the box instead of 8. Canada showed them why they should play a little deeper.

Les would have just pounded it against 8 and hoped they were burned out in the fourth. Our passing game also showed a little newness. The triangle was working OK for us. Etling had no issues reading the coverage for the triangle.

This is different from being 3rd and 9 and hoping Malachi can go up and get the 35 yard pass.

Also, we ran the jet sweep a couple of times early. This means they have to defend against the man in motion Instead of just loading the box and waiting for the running back.

It sure seemed different to me.
