I think that Ole Miss may have the best offense in the SEC this year.

Now I know that we won't have a good season by any means, I believe our ceiling all depends on how we start our season.
2017 Ole Miss Football Schedule:
South Alabama
UT Martin
@ Cal Berkley
@ Alabama
@ Auburn
Vanderbilt
LSU
Arkansas
@ Kentucky
ULL
Texas A&M
@ Mississippi State - I honestly couldn't tell you, the worse team has won on multiple occasions, but State should win this one so I'll chalk it up as an L.
7-5, 8-4
I believe we have a ceiling of winning 7 games, 8 being the absolute max this year if everything goes to plan.
Now lets take a look at how our season could look if we don't start out the right way.

4-8
Ole Miss will likely find themselves in between 7-5 and 4-8, they will lose games they shouldn't or they may surprise a few teams and up their ceiling but I wouldn't bet on it.
Now that I have given my outlook for the season lets get back to the original purpose for this thread and that is Offense. I believe that Ole Miss will have one of the best Offensive Units in the SEC, I would go no lower than the Top 3. Lets take a look at the talent Ole Miss will have at its disposal this year.

I know that we are young and inexperienced at some positions such as RB and TE but I believe that we should have a good showing at TE with Cooley and Pellerin, Cooley being more of the bruiser while Pellerin being more of the Evan Engram Type of TE.
The Running Back position is the only glaring weakness that I can see on our Offense this year and they may end up playing just fine. I really do think that we have the best Receiving Core in the SEC though.
If I missed anyone you think is worth noting please let me know, I hope this helped you better understand the weapons Ole Miss will have at its disposal this fall. I'm really excited for the season and I wish everyone the best!

Not sure anyone cares. OM sports is dead brah.

That's a lot of work for what will amount to lots of downvotes and no one reading past your thread title

I upvoted because you're standing by your team in a time of strife which is admirable and not focusing on threatening your opponents like that weirdo Rebelloke.

Do they have enough eligible players to field a team? What about a coach?

LINK
This link says Ole Miss will be 8th best and that Vanderbilt and Kentucky will suck balls.
Has MO at 3rd best.

Thorough post, and I agree with much of your assessment. Have an upvote.

TL;DR
Ole Miss will not have the best offense in the league this year. You lost your play caller

They can take out the thread what they want, if their minds can't look past a title, I don't know what to say

You put so much work into that post. Almost like you are trying to convince yourself that Ole Miss will actually be relevant. Nice try though!

I never said we would be good, I actually said quite the opposite. I was just laying everything out for y'all when it came to our offense.

Whats the O line depth look like?
Posted on 8/30/17 at 8:48 am to CousinEDDIEEEE
I think its pretty good, we've recruiting well there the past few seasons from what I can remember.

I appreciate the effort you put into this. With that said, the offense (specifically the passing game) was not the problem for OM last season. The biggest problem was they gave up 450+ yds and 34 points per game, often getting gashed on the ground.
In addition to that you've got a new HC, with no HC experience, and new coordinators on both sides of the ball. I expect Ole Miss to struggle quite a bit this season. And Ole Miss is yet to even feel the effects of the sanctions, even those that have been self-imposed.

Longo has put up some sick numbers in previous stops, and you do have a lot of talent on offense, so there is that.

It is so sweet that you think Ole Miss still matters.

Honestly, I have to agree completely with my girl piggi. I would do the exact same and I know it might sound strange, but damn if it wouldn't hurt me something fierce to have to go thru what the Rebs are going thru.
Also...with y'all going to Berkeley everyone who is actually going to the game needs to think twice or at least remain extremely vigilant. There have been some serious threats made towards y'all and I have zero doubt those idiots will not think twice before attacking completely unprovoked.
