And possibly longer.

Volfan, the scoob please. We are about to get a healthy dose of Colton Jumper this season, aren't we?

I'm praying this is a smokescreen for a failed drug test

I mentioned this in the camp thread this afternoon. It wasn't confirmed at the time tho.

LINK

SECMike Just posted this on Twitter (Link above). This would be the best case scenario

I'm told timetable for return here is most likely 2-4 weeks; unless his knee has to be completely repaired. 2-3 months in that case

Best case that I've seen so far has him back around UGA.

I don't think it's bad as initially thought. That said, I suppose we'll play Jumper for GT. He should be OK for that game since he won't really be out athleted the way he would in SEC play.

Bituli has had a nagging injury all camp but no one seems to know how bad it is or what it is and Ignont is a frosh. Hopefully both see snaps. If DKjr is out for the UF game I would much rather have Bituli or Ignont ready to go than Jumper although Jumper did a good job in the UF game last year.

Honestly, if Bituli isn't too limited there's no reason he shouldn't be able to grab the MLB spot before SEC play (Ignont is talented but he's a frosh) but this close to game time with an assignment based defensive plan we probably roll with Jumper for GT.

Ohh my Christ

Read about the injury earlier and that thought was bad enough but GOD DAMN JUMPER playing hadn't even crossed my mind

Pray for me please

That's like Kirkland's fourth injury since last year and it was non contact.

Can Bituli or Ignont be ready? So tired of this injury bullshite.

Jumper played some good football last year, and gets shitted on. Is he the most athletic no, but he is in the right spots and makes the play. Shoop is high on him also.

He played well vs Florida then decent AT TIMES during other games but there were bad moments all around

I also have PTSD from him, unfortunately there's no going back on him for me

Jumper was weird to me last season. I thought he had pretty good games against Florida and A&M, but the rest he was bad especially down the stretch. He gets brought up as some cerebral player that just lacks the D1 attributes, but I felt like his mental game was worse than his physical.... and he looks like he weighs 190lbs.

Note I have never watched film(lol) or studied Jumper, just pulling that out of my arse. Bottom line unless he has improved by a wide margin linebacker development has been a complete failure going into year 5 to have to rely on him.
