Sure, if you're an avid follower of Chattanooga or VCU basketball the last few years you might have caught his name, but let's not pretend like he was even close to a big name. He wasn't a Ben Howland, Bruce Pearl, Avery Johnson, etc...He's only 34 years old

You didn't really have to, Smart made VCU a school that has been commonly talked about since he started that run. While Wade kept the momentum going. He was often listed in the raising young coaches that would get a shot at a bigger program.
