Good thread. It proves a very significant point regarding fandom in general. Notice how few, if any, posters consider Alabama a 2nd favorite team. Like Kentucky basketball, if you're not for the perennial front-runner, you generally dislike them....why? Because they're always beating your team?...because they enjoy a degree of respect (fear) that your team doesn't? There are many more reasons, to numerous to name, but the thread does bring the point home very clearly. 
edit: notice how many of the teams named have less than glamorous reputations?

The shitty, arrogant attitude you just demonstrated is exactly why hardly anyone chose Bama.
