Totally agree, and what I was hoping to get out of posing the question. A reasonable parenting response not the "my kid does nothing wrong" response like the other response was.

At this point I do think the SEC needs to set a standard. Arrest no matter what you get suspended the next game. It'll hold players, and coaches accountable. Really small chance a kid is going to get arrested wrongly. If he is giving an officer lip about being a player or something all a cop has to say is "don't push me to arrest you" to get him to simmer down. Will be the "don't give me a real reason to make you cry" my dad would warn us with. Ha.
