My son was watching it with me and said "I would never play for a guy like that" He is a POS.
2 things: anyone that thinks players are victims of coaches trying to win, needs to watch this. Yeah, Buddy wants to win, it's his job, but they tell the RB 10 times that he can't play because of a concussion. His actual words when told this during a game when he can't see straight: "I would rather die on the field than not play football." --he then calls the coach a "f**king b**ch" for not letting him play
2nd: your son, unless he's planning on being charged with armed robery, assault, possession of a controlled substance, or breaking and entering: is probably not the target audience of Buddy's coaching.
His job isn't to motivate and help them feel better about themselves--they've most likely been given passes throughout high school and now it's his job to make them take responsibility for themselves.

was told that my scholarship was going to be cut because of it and the school wouldn't pay for the tommy John surgery. So I saw how much juco coaches care about the kids
I had my knee scoped my first semester I transferred into the Juco I went to, and they covered it before I even played a game. Not all Juco coaches are like Buddy, in fact MOST aren't.

but the coaching staff definitely did not follow concussion protocol and put him back in too soon.
I honestly thought the kid was embellishing the concussion. He pitched a fit because he "wanted to play" but when they kept asking conncussion related questions he wasn't answering them like he wanted to play
Coach: does the light hurt your head
Player that wants to play: nope, I'm all good coach
Wright: a little bit, and I'm a little bit dizzy
The kid didn't want to go back in, but he had to pretend like he did to keep his persona up. He was either really concussed and knew he shouldn't go back in, or that lick on the sideline scared him shitless. One good lick can change a mentally weak player forever. His little tantrum was 100% an act though. If you really want to go back in the game, you know how to answer concussion questions

No doubt. There is zero chance he wanted to play, but he had to keep up his football is life motif. He literally appeared to go insane if you think of his personality from last season to this season.

I think y'all are giving that kid too much credit... It was pretty obvious that he had a concussion, but he didn't know he couldn't play with a concussion.

Best part was when Kam Carter says "I'm going to Bama".
He wouldn't last 10 seconds at Bama (or any real program for that matter) with his attitude....

So LSU 4th or 5th string QB Lindsey Scott Jr. is headed to Scooba. Went from an offer to attend Harvard out of high school, to LSU for a year, to Scooba, MS. Quite the journey
