What adds to the sheer schadenfreude joy of it all is that Ole Miss brought this upon themselves by trying to make Nutt the fall guy.
As a football coach Nutt is pretty average, but when it comes to back room politics there are few that can match him.

And, on top of it all, OM is still gonna have to settle and cut Nutt a fat check. I thought LSU admin was bad at admin stuff. Geez.

There's a reason Saban recommended Houston Nutt for the LSU job when he went to the Dolphins. It had nothing to do with Nutt's qualifications. Saban knew Houston Nutt was a gangster. Don't get on his bad side.

The beauty of all this, is that Freeze and OM admin didn't think anything would ever come of just casually making comments about the allegations being during Nutt's tenure. They were just posturing to save their recruiting class. Ended up being the downfall. Glorious story.
