Found this in his wiki...

His film debut was in the 1967 exploitation film Teenage Mother. Willard later reported that the audience at one screening of the film booed when his character interrupted an attempted sexual assault of the female lead character.

His son had a cancerous brain tumor. The cancer had also spread to his spine. He has been cancer free for over 6 years. No longer needing ongoing treatment was a factor in moving on from Boise.

Lurking at lunch and this popped up.

I remember this well. There was one picture of the dog we used to fark with where she is looking into the camera and her sad doggie eyes convey 'FML...Kill Me.' Poor Maggie.

In the movie Outlaws And Angels her character attempts to give some dude a 'frontier rubdown' like she has to for daddy.

Apparently a frontier rubdown is like a rub-n-tug if you replace the tug with a rimjob and BJ.
