Why in the hell would a guy this world renowned waste a minute of his time on some piddly little disparagement case between a 5+ yr unemployed football coach and a University in Mississippi

One word - MONEY.

Attorneys especially Tort Attorneys are like sharks. They can smell the blood in the water of a big payday from miles away. Coach Nutt has assembled a powerful team of people who specialize in getting money and they see an excellent opportunity to get their client tons of money from folks who blatantly violated the terms of a contract of non-disclosure. This is a slam dunk case for them and they evidently see a chance to expose other misdeeds by UM. No one knows where discovery will finally lead in this case, but the initial suit is a done deal for Nutt and his attorneys. Wouldn't surprise me to see them go for 10-12 million dollars in damages.

Thank you Lord.....

The rest of it is pure speculation and it is a coin toss at best if they get anything.

Dawg - do you have a copy of the non-disclosure agreement?

If you can't produce, kindly STFU.
