2007 ULM loss.
It was the loss Saban needed to galvanize the team, AD, and staff around his vision as he purged or marginalized all of those who wouldn't buy-in from that point on. '07 was a wash, but a necessary evil to reach rock bottom for a program that needed to be razed and rebuilt.
ULM was rock bottom and a springboard to where the program is now.
