They will get very little interest in any of those cities. How many SEC Schools are located in a City with a population of more than 500K ? The SEC appeals to rural America and the urban areas are more concerned with the NFL. It needs to stay in Birmingham, but it needs to move out of Hoover.

How many SEC fanbases call cities of more than 500k home? How many cities of more than 500k are in traditional Dixie?
