Honest question. A strong Tennessee = a possible Alabama loss, which is something every other SECW fan base can get behind. So how long do we have to wait? Can Butch do it? Probably not. Who or what would it take to have Tennessee as a serious force again?

Honest answer, when and IF we replace Butch with a coach that is capable of taking the next step, I thank Butch for dragging us out of the depths of hell, but I don't think he has what it takes to take the next step. We all know what a crap shoot the coaching search can be though. The last decade has beaten me into thinking we are an 8-10 win team until proven otherwise.

Honest answer: I don't know if CBJ will ever get there. We came close to beating BAMA in '15 but that's about it.

Saban is a generational coach who few have beaten and most that have can cite a metric ton of luck. Like Bear never beat Neyland ("Thank God the Old guy finally quit" was what he said when Neyland retired) we may have to wait things out.

Also, what worries me about coaching is that we've always had our best success under Tennessee guys. If CBJ were fired, I'd push for Tee Martin HARD.
