Plus, UF has the most desirable location in the SEC. Think about it. Where do people go to vacation??? They come to Florida much more than other SEC states.

The top tennis camps are in Florida. Top Golf academy's are in Florida. Top football HS factories, growing basketball schools, baseball schools, The talent is tremendous. Then add the growing pipeline of athletes in the Caribbean and you have to really suck as a coach if you can't recruit here.
Sports wise, very few know that one of the very few Olympic Archery training centers is located right outside Gainesville in Newberry. (This of interest to me personally because I'm an Amateur Archer)

Anybody can go take lessons and courses to learn Olympic style (FITA) Archery, but it's where many of the Professional Olympic archers go to train.

Don't know if Florida has a collegiate Archery team or not, (I know aTm does) but with this Archery training complex so close by, they definitely should.

Despite the nutty rantings and ravings of many life long Louisiana residents, (Who were born/raised here and seem to think it's the center of the known Universe) Florida is superior in lifestyle and just about every other category that is listed. (Drinking, Partying and Littering is not one of those categories)

I lived in Louisiana for most of my life, but moved to Houston after Katrina (2005-2008) and then Florida for 6 years. Mrs.Semjase accepted a job promotion that brought us back to BRLA since 2014, but we both dislike it so much that we're planning on going back to Florida within the next year or so, (As soon as she can transfer back to the Tampa area) as we both feel like "Fish out of water" here.
