Went 57-18 overall that season. And those '02-'04 years came after the 2000 one when we went 56-10 and was the #1 national seed but fell in the Supers, so we never made it to Omaha that year.

I also saw after LSU defeated Oregon St. today where they had a short list of teams that had 4 or fewer losses on the regular season, and still failed to win the CWS. The 1975 Gamecock team was on that list: we went 51-6-1 that season and made our first ever trip to Omaha, and reached the Championship game that year too, also losing to Texas.....
