The single greatest human trait is our ability to persevere and overcome adversity. To turn a terrible circumstance into a great victory.

How do we do these great things when we don't remember the impetus?

If this comes to fruition, it will destroy what is best of us.

Imagine how different a person might be without the memory of being raped as a child, though. Or seeing a parent or loved one killed. Memories of war incapacitate many soldiers after they've served. I think medical forgetting would help them, don't you?
