No idea who the Knight is supposed to be as neither Rutgers (Scarlet Knights) nor UCF (Golden Knights) had football teams back then and Army was called the Cadets back then.

This program is back from in the day when the school would pick a cover and print there info on it and in it.

So you will see the same cover from other colleges.

I talked with an assistant sport information guy at LSU from the 1950's about these old program covers.

So most of the covers designs are on the generic line, so they can be used nation wide.

Not sure if they were the Scarlet Knights back then, but Rutgers most definitely had a football team back then.
Rutgers is considered the birthplace of college football by 1950, they had been playing football for 80+ years.
