I, for one, would love for the state of Alabama to have sporting teams. That way, I didn't have to travel to New Orleans, Nashville, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Miami, etc... to see Denver play. The same goes with NBA and MLB with other locations.

Of course, I don't think Alabama could support a professional football team.
