If your Men's Basketball job was open, would you consider Geno Auriemma?

If your school announced Geno as the new men's coach, is it a splash or a calamity?
Notes:
11 Basketball National Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist as a coach. Multiple Wooden-esuqe win streaks.
Total domination of his conference and unparalleled recruiter.
Disciplinarian, runs a tight ship, athletes graduate and are stand up representatives of the University.
Has not coached the men's game in some time.
Has reportedly declines men's jobs multiple times due to love of his current job.
(In reality, it seems far fetched. A blue blood might be the only one that could pry him away from the blistering machine he has going at Uconn.... but at the same time, an elite school would look to the mid-majors, NBA or even Europe before considering a women's coach no matter how successful.)

I don't think he'd leave for another program in women's, let alone go to men's. Why would he leave UCONN? This would be like Saban going to coach Canadian Football.

Yes. Absolutely yes.
But Auburn has little basketball history. Why not try it?

I actually semi advocated for this before we hired Will Wade
I mean he couldn't possibly be worse than JJ

Other than him being a known arse, I'd take him.

A lot of people would consider it, problem is.....
He's never leaving

No. He would not have the same built in advantages that he has.

I wanted to see Pat Summitt coach a men's team, I'm sure she could have.
Not sure about Geno. All it takes to win in women's is talent, and I don't know how good of a coach he is because he always has the most talent.
