BO inherited a 5 win team. He also inherited a team that had lost over a third of the players that GP had recruited since the SEC move. GPs system of development doesn't work if players don't stay 4-5 years.

Right, no one wants to hear it but we won't know if what BO is doing can work for a couple more years.

He might not get the chance.

People are also burying their heads in the sand about how much the protest hurt the program. These instate kids are seeing constant stories about enrollment drop, layoffs, budget cuts. It's not a good look obviously.

And he inherited a top 10 defense that he was the coordinator for that year. He quickly screwed that up and it took MTSU to beat us on Homecoming to figure that out.

He inherited a 5 win team but not a 5 win program. I agree with Remote. BO will be judged based on whether he takes what GP developed overall and improves it or lets it fall into extreme mediocrity.
