Sounds simple, I know.

I remember when GP was going to be judged by wins and losses, and a hope for bowl games.

He set the bar higher for MU football, wiBO is going to be judged by division championships and double digit win seasons.

Now, before you go all sandiegp on me, hear me out. GP came in with a standard and raised it, but to be honest 6-6 or 7-5 would have been great considering what he inherited.

wiBO inherited a standard too, double digit win seasons and division championships. This makes his margin of error much slimmer.

I'll go on record as saying he'll never meet the demands as set by his predecessor.

Mizzou wins the East again in 19 or 20, but wiBO will not be the coach of said east champ.

I think he's a good coach, but the pressures of the SEC will wear on Sterk. The next coach does real work with wiBOs recruits.

Mark it down.

BO inherited a 5 win team. He also inherited a team that had lost over a third of the players that GP had recruited since the SEC move. GPs system of development doesn't work if players don't stay 4-5 years.

First, I'm a big fan of HCBO. College ball is all about results.

Second, he was hired at a time of program and school weakness. I dislike ex-AD Rhoades, but he probably did the best he could at the time with the internal hire.

Third, as stated earlier in this thread, GP's recruits had to stay around and they just didn't. That's all on GP, not HCBO.

Fourth, Mizzou needs to make a bowl game (6 wins) this year with this schedule. With five or fewer wins, I say cut HCBO quick. His recruiting will not improve enough to make a difference in his potential third year. AD Sterk is my man. Sterk will then need to go out and make that big bounce hire like he did with C. Martin. Mizzou needs this.

Fifth, get the SEZ project in the fippin' air now.

Sixth, I'm not getting any younger while waiting for a conference championship.
