That was because everyone in the conference had to follow the same rules and the talent was more balanced in those days. Now the rules are lopsided in favor of a certain school and the rest of the conference is forced to cycle through coaches to find one that can outcoach their coach on the field. But the talent gap is too big and the NCAA jumps schools that beat them. Until the charade is stopped the conference will never have stable coaches like before.

Why do the 13 other schools allow the favoritism of the one school? Do they just enjoy being beat? Are they cucks?
