Maybe I am too OCD to appreciate the gratitude given to the living on Memorial Day. The Devil is in the details though and I'm not sure I can accurately explain why I feel the way that I do.

There is no reason why one couldnt use a proper delivery to thank the fallen and the veterans in one setting. However, making a thread on Memorial Day titled" Thank You Vets for Serving" and barely mentioning the fallen really isn't sufficient when the purpose of the holiday is narrowly focused on the fallen.

I like to thank those that serve when I can and felt like doing it this morning. If I knew people would be offended I wouldn't have posted it, as that was not my intentions at all.

I may not have been a Marine like my father and his brother, but I did spend 7 years in the military.
