I mean, for frick's sake, I'm wearing a GruntStyle shirt right now in observance of the holiday. Not to curry thanks, just as a personal tribute/tradition.

Who the hell cares who gets thanked on which holiday? Be glad someone wanted to express gratitude at all.

ETA: Yeah I'm definitely adding "vetflakes" to my lexicon

Exactly. While I don't have 5.11 pants, I do own a shite load of NineLine shirts. Gotta support the local companies and I like their shirts a lot. When they're on sale.

You reverse social warriors should just create a "Thank Somebody: Doesn't Matter Who or When or If They're the Right Entity, Just Do It" Day, Since the actual purpose of thanking the fallen on "Memorial Day" is no longer followed.
