Good try but CU won it in 1990 and Texas wasn't in the Big 8. If they were, your point would hold value but because of your two ignorant mistakes nobody will ever listen to your opinion on here again.

Colorado, Texas, and Nebraska did not win national championships in the 1980s.
However, if you are referring to 1980-Present, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn have all won national championships in that time frame.

In the 1980's only Oklahoma won a national title out of that Group.
Nebraska's titles were 1971, 1994, 1995, and 1997
t.u.'s titles were 1963, 1969, and 2005 (1970 is illegitimate)
Colorado's was a shared title with Georgia Tech in 1990
1980's (1980-1989) National Champions
1980 - Georgia
1981 - Clemson
1982 - Penn State
1983 - Miami
1984 - BYU
1985 - Oklahoma
1986 - Penn State
1987 - Miami
1988 - Notre Dame
1989 - Miami
