Don't be a goob. Have you ever had a large fish on its belly in a boat? The tail turns either right or left. So he is indeed wrong. That is a shark tail turned to the side.

I thought that at first, but the dorsal and ventral sides look the same length. Maybe I'm just not used to seeing sharks with 300 lb. naked men on them.
