According to a police report obtained by Dawgs247 a pair of UGA police offers were called to Vandiver Hall by a resident adviser who had detected the smell of marijuana coming from Holyfield's dorm room

Okay...this is bullshite but there's a few things you guys need to keep in mind and there are some things that need to be considered. And for the record I don't agree with this...it just is what it is.

Once the cops are called they have to respond and investigate. If they don't and EH kills somebody or falls out a window cause he's high...police and UGA get sued by Evander, the family and everyone there to see it...

If EH opens the door and is high...and they let him go and he falls out the window or kills somebody later...police and UGA gets sued by the family, Evander and everyone that was there to see it...

If they arrest him and then drop him off at Kirby's house.... police and UGA gets sued by everyone that was ever arrested for pot that DIDN'T get dropped off at Kirby's house. Plus, if it leaks out its a PR nightmare.

IMO this is an RA problem...because he started the chain of events that has to only go one way once in motion. Our RA used to tap on the door and tell us tone it down...but he was cool. Who knows about this guy? Personally, I don't think EH did a good enough job sucking up to his RA.

This is 100% on the RA. What part of 'mind you're own business - these ain't high school kids' - does he not understand?

Notice that we had a similar situation a year ago, also when an RA called the cops because his little nose was offended by the smell of the evil weed. If it was the same RA, I think he's the one who needs internal discipline...not the players who are and will continue to do the same things that 75% of other college students are doing (and that most of them will do in the NFL if they get there).

This nonsense about cannabis needed to end a long time ago... 65% of Americans now support legalization. A fair share of the 35% who don't will be dead in a decade...
