Florida uses bad weather to get out of playing game, again by JacknolaOK... discloser... I went to Stetson for two years before going Army/Vietnam. I grew up in Gainesville FLA.
That said ... ...the last time LSU fans got their panties twisted about a storm game they got a gatoraid enema. So why are so many snarling, hurt, "little corn doggies" AGAIN going after Florida? Didn't they learn not to do this the first time?
The Hatters don't seem to be particularly concerned about this... and I'll bet most corn doggies on this board couldn't even tell you where Stetson is without goggle. Is this just a case
of "Who will cry for the little corn doggie?"

As I posted 2 pages up (you CAN read, can't you ????) LSU fans don't care about that game, what we do care about, is that WE are getting blamed as the bad guy and getting shite upon, when the situation had NOTHING to do with us:

To wit:

Are you serious? We don't CARE about that stupid phucking game. Y'all beat us fair and square.

What LSU fans still are bewildered about is how in the everloving PHUCK was LSU the bad guy ?????

This was FLORIDA'S HOME GAME. This was Greg Sankey and Jeremy Foley telling Alleva ALL WEEK that the game would still be played, then......CANCELLING ??

Alleva offered to play on Sunday night or Monday, JUST LIKE LSU DID the Monday night after Rita hit when we played Tennessee on Monday night - with 93,000 in the stands.
And guess what, Baton Rouge and Louisiana had the """""""""""""""""" S A M E """"""""""""""" infrastructure problems Gainesville had: people in shelters, emergency vehicles, traffic problems, medical issues, street lights and traffic light problems, etc. Except we had gone through """""""""""""" T W O """"""""""""" storms in the previous three weeks, we were still dealing with the aftermath of Katrina.
LSU paid for Tennessee to fly in WITH NO HOTEL ROOMS, play and fly back.

What did the Florida hurricane and its aftermath have to do with LSU ??????????????????

Why was everybody pissed at LSU, when Alleva OFFERED to play Sunday, Monday, with no attendance, no security, any way possible IN Florida ?????????

WHAT DID FLORIDA'S INDECISION AND CALLOUSNESS AND STUBBORNNESS have ANYTHING AT ALL to do with LSU?????????????????

I will give you a honest perspective from an outside viewer. The only reason that LSU takes a hit over this is their reaction on this board after UF/SEC cancelled the game. There were so many threads started by LSU fans over the incident so it rubbed people the wrong way. At that point it really didn't matter whose fault it was, right or wrong. That explains it from the perspective of the board. I can't answer your question if you are referring to reactions outside of this board.
