Do you not understand that UT right now has more power than before A&M left

For this simple fact that UT is pretty much in the driver's seat of controlling all future expansion
They have the pick in what of the four conferences they want to go to

They tip the balance of college football because wherever they go that conference instantly becomes the most powerful conference in the country
Right now the SEC has the most power in college football but a Texas in either of the other three conferences will put them over the SEC

There is not pick. It goes SEC #1 then everyone else. At this point, the SEC is a no go. So you'll have to settle for staying in the shitty Big 12 and like it. Be prepared to make a ton of concessions (no mo network) when it finally implodes and OU leaves your arse in the dust.
