Oh, sorry, didn't really I was dealing with the Hyde version of Chin.

If it makes you feel better, I don't think Auburn makes the NCAAT despite adding two ~top 50 players + returning more talent than Alabama

Whether you agree or not, I still view AU as a better team than Alabama

I think Auburn, like the other teams mentioned earlier, has the raw parts to make the NCAA Tournament.

Most of the girth of the SEC will teeter between 40-60 RPI. It will just depend who wins a few OOC games and snags a big win or two in league. All of those teams have the roster to be able to do that. All of them also have the chance to go 17-14 and go to the NIT.

They were a better team last year in a 1 vs 1 matchup scenario for sure. I think their resume was clearly not as good, but who really gives a shite when comparing two teams that weren't awful but weren't good I guess.

I won't pretend to know how the new additions/departures/philosophical tweaks will change Auburn, but I anticipate Alabama will be different stylistically this coming season. No idea how that will specifically apply to an individual matchup with Auburn (don't really care, in the big picture).

We were last year. Not sure about next year. Bama still returns some solid players while adding two pieces they needed badly. Had Bama had any playmakers last year, they could've gone far.

Plus I'm not sure that Bruce can develop players better than Avery.
