I don't see why the men winning something is more impressive. I agree people care more about the men winning but winning a national title is equally impressive regardless of gender.
If you win a tourney that had a team with a hundred game win streak in the field, then that's pretty impressive.

Because men play sports better than women. It's pretty simple to grasp why it's held in higher regard. Most people just don't give a shite about women's sports.

Because there not that many talented women's basketball teams. Even the final four was pretty bad basketball.

Winning a NC is a great accomplishment, but consider that last year, in the national semi finals, UConn beat Moo St. ladies by 60 points. In a Final Four game. The best thing about this issue, though, is the Lady Cocks don't give a shite, they won the NC.
