During the 20 game win streak we won a bunch on walk offs.

Yepp. We'll start finding out the real worth of Bieser now. That's also 6 of the last 7.

I do like the fact that he finally gave De Oca a chance on the weekends. Threw a solid 5. We just couldn't hit with guys on. Misner hit into two double plays at least.

To be fair, Florida is a legit CWS contender with the best defense and some of the best pitching in the league.

No doubt. That can be an excuse many weeks this year though. Would have liked to have taken at least 1 from them.

Should beat Illinois midweek (though I don't know who starts those games now) and should win/sweep against UGA next weekend. Then 2 against Ark-Pine Bluff. That should be a 6 game win streak going into UK series, whose been legit so far. The UK series will be telling.

Hopefully, UGA is the medicine for this skid. Watch a couple of their games and them just what the doctor ordered. We are not that far off from being a top half team in the SEC.

We are in a much better spot than we were under Jamieson. Approach at the plate is much improved and the use of the pitching staff is much better in my opinion.

What shocks me is the defense. Bieser just seems like one of guys where the fundamentals would be solid. Hell, if you can't field a ground ball just stay after practice and take another 1000 ground balls.

I do like their approach at the plate much more than under TJ. They do have games where they disappear with runners in scoring position but overall they've been good there too.

Pitching is hard to say IMO. McClain and Williams were solid last year. Having said that, Plassmeyer is much better this year. Sikemma is sick. Hopefully De Oca settles in on Sundays. Be interesting to see if it's Toelken on midweek games

The underclassmen have come back to earth vs some guys that can locate secondary pitches. Sharp and Glendinning aren't too far off. Misner has really struggled the last 7 games.

The next six games are just what they need before hosting Kentucky.

Houck has not lived up to his billing either.
