There are several from the original NOA that we've already punished. The player that crashed on the coach's couch has already paid back the coach. Tunsil was suspended for 7 games until the NCAA cleared him because of the loaner car deal. Players paid back for free meal. Several recruiting restrictions(visits, phone calls, etc.)
I'm not saying that this will completely get us off the hook...but we won't be double punished for some of the violations that we've already made amends.

they may get you for repeat offender if what you say is true.

And that's fine. But they can slap a 4-year bowl ban and dock you 38 schollies over 3 years if they want, just for the ACT fraud.
I feel like you are reluctant to accept they have all the charges they need to absolutely slam you. This second round part is just about getting show-causes for Freeze and Bjork because y'all didn't fire them.

The COI will give them a glass of water and maybe a stick of gum before they tell them they won't be playing football for 2 years.

I think that the NCAA felt disrespected by the way Ole Miss handled the situation and for that reason are going to show no mercy.
The NCAA doesn't act like a singular group during this process. The COI that will be the final judgment has absolutely nothing to do with the investigators. They aren't the same people.
The investigator's don't have the final say on what is actually a punishable violation so their personal issue with the University really has no bearing on the final saying.

And can you source that information for us?

It isn't possible for us to be considered a repeat offender.

Has OM done anything to purge the boosters? Because IMHO, they are the jackasses that at the end of the day won't be directly affected by the sanctions. They won't lose their jobs, or have to pay restitution, or suffer public humility for their actions.

The one involved with Tunsil's step-dad has been disassociated with the University. They won't do anything to the FCA booster that we keep mentioning because he has a pre-existing relationship with that recruit and has a long history of taking underprivileged kids from inner-city Memphis to several schools.
The one named in the Leo Lewis deal sounds a bit weird. I don't think anything has been said officially with that guy but there was pretty strong talk that the guy Leo said personally gave him money is an attorney that was in Circuit court that entire day....so it would have been impossible for that to happen. If it's true Leo specifically mentioned only him and that specific date, then it sounds like he's got a pretty strong alibi.
....but again...I have no idea how accurate that is.

Nothing in the amended NOA(that I can recall) occurred after the original NOA came out and us self-imposing a probation. That's why they gave us an amended NOA instead of a separate one.

Whereas, Alabama got hammered with repeat offender status because textbook gate occurred while we were under probation for a so-called booster (God rest his salad eating soul) paid Albert Means' HS coach.
I wonder of programs will ever wake up and realize that anything the Memphis pipeline can be toxic?

Yeah, I sourced it on page 4 of this thread. But here it is again for you
PENALTY MATRIX
Not that it matters much, but could you source any part of this ordeal where you, TampaReb, HottyToddy7, or any of the OM beat writers have been correct or realistic about any of this. TIA

He worked like a slave day 'n night deflecting and steering conversations away from the negative narrative in the wake of that fist NOA last year. Now he goes MIA for some reason.

correct. That's why we keep laughing when people throw that statement out there.

That's pretty much how those types of violations get punished....
We also suspended some assistants' recruiting abilities as well as docked ourselves visits, phone calls, etc.

As far as the NOA is concerned, yes. But the NOA isn't the final say.
If the COI actually upholds violations like the FCA guy and a homeless player crashing on a coaches couch for two nights as level-1's....then the NCAA really is the most despicable organization in the United States.
And I'll probably stop watching college sports altogether.

I would go with most inconsistent but I think most of us already know that by now
