Saban and.............
- Mullen is a solid coach - but he shouldn't be #2 in a good league.
- Coach O has a chance to succeed I think, but clearly that's a huge risk. I think Muschamp does too, relative to his school's success expectation.
- Jury still totally out on Kirby, but once again, risk
- Thought Bilema would be solid, but so far it's been pretty bleh without much more improvement seemingly in the future.
- Stoops and Mason aren't bad for their current spots, but that isn't going to move the needle in the SEC. Freeze wasn't either until, well you know.
- McElwain, Malzahn, Butch, Sumlin just aren't good enough for what their schools should have.
Bottom line, the Big 7-8 schools in this league shouldn't be Nick Saban and a bunch of mehs/big risks. But that is where we are right now. And it's starting to show in the play on the field.

The SEC head coach roster is terrible currently.

Damn near impossible to argue that. Bleh until proven on the field differently and I'm not holding my breath.

If you were starting a program tomorrow and had to hire an SEC Coach not named Saban, who do you hire? My answer is Mullen. That's crazy when you think about it.
