- Mullen is a solid coach - but he shouldn't be #2 in a good league.

- Coach O has a chance to succeed I think, but clearly that's a huge risk. I think Muschamp does too, relative to his school's success expectation.

- Jury still totally out on Kirby, but once again, risk

- Thought Bilema would be solid, but so far it's been pretty bleh without much more improvement seemingly in the future.

- Stoops and Mason aren't bad for their current spots, but that isn't going to move the needle in the SEC. Freeze wasn't either until, well you know.

- McElwain, Malzahn, Butch, Sumlin just aren't good enough for what their schools should have.


Bottom line, the Big 7-8 schools in this league shouldn't be Nick Saban and a bunch of mehs/big risks. But that is where we are right now. And it's starting to show in the play on the field.
