I really think had Muschamp not been fired he would have had at least an average offense by now. The recruiting was elite under WM and he was set to bring in some epic classes. People forget that he had to clean up the abomination that Meyer left behind which put him behind the 8 ball. Yes WM made a couple questionable decisions hiring coaches and was too conservative but I think his recruiting was going to catch up with his style of play and UF would have been dominating the east...not just winning the east by default.
