I'm fine without a featured back. You look back at those dominant Bryant teams from the 70s and it was strictly running back by committee. Johnny Musso in '71 was the only RB we had eclipse the 1,000-yard mark that decade.

B J Emmons and Josh Jacobs looked pretty good last year. I'm not sure where to place Harris. He looked really good early last year, then really became average late in the season. A lot of reasons could factor into that. Then there's Bo. No doubt he's special, but he's fragile. He's not King Henry who you could just feed all night long. Then there's Najee. If he's as good as advertised, no way he doesn't see at least some spot duty this year. Man, what a backfield. We just need to make sure these guys are involved in the passing game too to get them as many touches as possible.

Good point. Bama has underutilized a lot of RBs in the Saban era in my opinion. The worst was in 2013 when Nussmeier would never put Fowler, Drake, or Henry on the field. He may have been secretly in love with Yeldon.

Ironically, a lot of Bryant's teams were also quarterback by committee. He would sometimes play as many as four quarterbacks in a single game, hoping one would kickstart the offense.
