You are still missing it. Have you ever seen the bus scene from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" where Martin want the bus to sing "Three Coins in the Fountain" and Candy has to save his arse by singing "The Flintstones" theme. Historically our POTUS has been "sporting" since the early days of horse racing and baseball as they were the early "national" sports of Merica. Now it is football and basketball.

ok i don't think a leftwing guy like you is really in a place to say he is the model American. lol
persoanlly it made me sick when ESPN etc made a big deal out of Obama filling out a bracket and had him on to discuss it. obama was always more of a celebrity than a president.
