I think the composite rankings recently updated

Watford - 14
Kira - 29
Timme - 47
Walton - 60
Gary - 67
Forbes - 113
Smith - 116
Crowley - 127

KyKy Tandy is at 87. The only reason I bring up Tandy is that if he's good enough, Kentucky may hold off on offering Kira. Maxey and Lecque are UK's primary guard targets. With Maxey already committed, UK offering Kira probably depends on how good they feel about landing Lecque and how good they feel about Tandy as a backup plan to Lecque.

A guy I know knows a Kentucky fan who usually (according to him) has pretty good sources and is straightforward. He said that Kentucky won’t be offering Kira. Now idk how legit that info is, but if it’s true, Kira is ours.

I guess it could be true. That would explain why so many people are confident Kira is reclassifying and going to Bama

Really like how our staff tends to get the early offers on the late-riser prospects like Kira and Timme. They've had a knack for that under Avery and that's how we stand the best chance of landing players out of our league like Sexton.

Side note: Collin Sexton has been giving props to CAJ throughout the entire draft process and Summer League. Great recruiting material.

Jerry Meyer said on BOL that Memphis seems to be a strong leader for Watford and he’ll likely end up there.

Also, Gary will announce either Saturday or Sunday. He talked to Sindarius Thornwell and wanted his opinion on everything, so idk if that changed anything (I doubt it). We picked up a couple CBs today for him

I was told at a team camp in Tuscaloosa last month that Watford would follow the $. The guy that told me that was a HS coach for about 20 years in the Birmingham area. No idea if he's in the know or not.

He’s probably right. I’ve heard a lot of speculation about him potentially being paid by Memphis

A program like Memphis coming in and overcoming, in 2 months, 2+ years of relationship building between a player and the staff of a major conference school right in his backyard is suspicious at best. This isn't UNC or Kansas we are talking about. I'd be shocked if he wasn't getting paid to go there.

this common knowledge and I've just missed it?

One of my newphews played with HG last year. Most of the remaining players decided not to return to the team from last year and have not participated in any activities. From what I hear is believe is Kira is really wanting a UK offer. But he's done with hs. Hopefully we are negative recruiting our arse off

Not to mention Watford has openly cheered on our team on Twitter for several games each of the last few years. Like 2 years ago, I even supplied him an illegal link to watch a non-conference game against a nobody

If he goes to Memphis, I won't even be a little bit upset with the staff. There's nothing they could do to lose a kid that's seemingly been a fan of ours for the past 2 years in less than 2 months without money being involved.

Even without Watford, this class is shaping up to still be very good

I'd be disappointed our staff/boosters aren't paying enough to secure his commitment. He's good enough for it.

Well I know for a fact Collin wasn’t paid, so idk if they’d do something like that or not
